Goombungee is on the Darling Downs 35km North West of Toowoomba; it is located at the junction of the Pechey-Maclagan Road and the Kingsthorpe-Hayden Road.  From the main street (Kingsthorpe-Hayden Road) turn into Edward Street (Assemblies of God Church on the corner) and the Showground entrance is straight ahead at the end.
